THE MR. LAFFYPANTS SHOW
The Mr. Laffypants Show has been a mainstay of children's television programming for over 40 years. Mr. Laffypants was first introduced to kids across the nation in 1961 as a mid-season replacement. With only 13 episodes in the can, the series' original host (whose name has been lost to the ether) abruptly quit the show. But, he made a long lasting impression. The show was wildly successfull, and thanks to widespread syndication, ran in perpetual repeats unitl 1995.
By the mid-ninties, the face of children's television had changed. Executives decided that it was time for a newr, hipper Mr. Laffypants. Seth Nelson was hired for the job. So far the reviews have been mixed.
